This year, Sportlifestyle brand PUMA announced their support of the Maasai Wilderness Conversation Trust. As part of the Trust’s efforts, Edward Norton led a team of 30 runners in the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1, 2009. Norton led the team alongside three Maasai Warriors to raise money and awareness for the Trust, a non-profit organization based in Kenya that supports the preservation of biodiversity within the Maasai tribal lands of East Africa by promoting conservation, education and health services within the Maasai community. This exclusive behind the scenes video addresses the Maasai Wilderness Conversation Trust, the thought behind the Maasai Marathon, and scenes leading up to race day including: training in NYC, Africa, getting fitted for new sneakers, and receiving the Official PUMA team jersey.
