will bolt run the 400?

close-up

WOW. A little time off does a mind good.

Bolt told a news conference today in Nairobi that his main goal was to become a legend - nothing new there, but then he added -

“Next year is the same thing, win the championships, break more records and eventually move up to the 400 meters.”

The 23-year-old Jamaican, who also confirmed he was interested in attempting the long jump, hinted that he might attempt the 400 at the 2012 London Olympics.

This is the distance that in the past he said he hated training for and probably wouldn’t attempt until after 2012.

Did you write that yourself? Where you in Nairobi and jotted down that quote? I highly doubt it.

I strongly suspect that you’re splicing your comment with an excerpted article, but I can’t find this article on google. I’ve noticed that you will take articles and excerpt them here without always acknowleding it, but this goes too far because you’ve blended your writing with the article very well and I can’t find the original article. It comes off as your work, but I strongly suspect that it isn’t.

I think you need to be more upfront about attributing other people’s work. You can’t just take their material, put it on your blog, and not acknowledge the original writer or publication. You do it once in a while, but I think you need to attribute everything that isn’t yours.

Mr. Dillard and myself think that the 110 hurdles could be a easy transiton for him to make. So forget the LJ, and delay the 400 till later on. WATCH OUT ROBLES!!!!
